Finalizing the map now, been using cinema director all night to make the flythrough, my late night additions were:

  • tweaked the lights and reduced memory used
  • edited texture files in photoshop to add continuity between colors
  • added tree prefab that Anthony found
  • used cinema director to make flythrough
  • general tweaking/changing to textures
  • added bridges between unreachable trunks
  • cleaned up billboard trees in background
  • cut down on objects in general to speed up
  • tweaked particles to make them more memory efficient and visible (also tweaked their general colors to make them more fitting to the map)

I keep feeling this was abit too OVER brown / wooden... and coulda utilised at least one more colour to create a better theme / contrast.
But the window lighting makes it look awesome!

True, I actually did the final texturing on my laptop and the browns looked quite different on its screen but then looked different whilst going through it on the AIT computers. I probably should have added an accent to them though haha, I was hoping the green trees would make all the brown a bit more bearable Razz

Ya the trees helped alot with the greens. Perhaps the "ROOFS" could had a darker red colour or something. Or the light wood you used on the fan.
Surprisingly it still looks quite good all brown... in which usually it woulda been breaking immersion.

Originally the roofs were a purple-ish color, sorta wished I had sticked with that hah...
